Joshua Brown is the Senior Manager of the Client Portfolio Management Group at Optimize, as well as a licensed Portfolio Manager. In this role, Joshua makes sure the investment experience for clients and advisors runs smoothly, from overseeing daily portfolio operations to supporting complex cases and contributing to strategy development. His focus is on keeping the path clear, so advisors can deliver an exceptional client experience. Joshua was inspired to enter the financial industry by his grandfather, Tom, who rose from humble beginnings to become a senior leader at Dominion Bank. His determination, resilience, and integrity continue to shape how Joshua approaches his work and life. For Joshua, the most meaningful part of the role is building relationships. Hearing the stories and experiences of clients and team members brings a strong sense of purpose to his work. He values the collaborative culture at Optimize and the depth of expertise within the team, which allows them to deliver well-rounded strategies that reflect each client’s unique goals. Optimize’s Multi-Family Office model also stands out to Joshua. By combining investment management with coordinated tax, estate, and planning services, the firm helps clients grow and preserve wealth in a more complete way. Outside of work, Joshua enjoys spending time with his wife and their two sons. As an active family, they spend much of their time outdoors - hiking, biking, and having new adventures together.
